Generally, I design patterns that can be used for many different fabric lines, and it is a useful technique since it means I do not have to begin from scratch for every new kit. Sometimes, however, I find special fabric collections that seem to need patterns made just for them.
See below the "Cabins and Maples" kits done both in exclusive, hand-dyed Cherrywood fabrics, and in Moda Marbles. Note also the gorgeous Asian quilt, Gingko Fantasy. In the works is a raw edge applique and pieced block quilt, which will feature posies and churn dashes made of 30's reproduction prints, vintage solids, and chenille.
